How to Play

The goal

Move an Oreo from your forehead to your mouth in 60 seconds, using nothing but your face. No hands allowed.

Setup

  1. Give every player a napkin and a small plate with 2-3 Oreos on it.
  2. Have players sit in chairs or stand with their heads tilted slightly back.
  3. Place one cookie flat on the center of each player's forehead.
  4. Set a timer for 60 seconds.

How to play

  1. On "go," players scrunch, twitch, and wiggle their faces to walk the cookie down toward their mouth.
  2. Hands stay down at all times. Touching the cookie with a hand means starting over with a fresh Oreo.
  3. If the cookie falls, the player grabs a new one, places it back on their forehead, and keeps going.
  4. The first player to get the cookie into their mouth wins. If nobody succeeds, the player whose cookie traveled the farthest takes the round.

Rules

  • No hands, no table edges, no help from teammates.
  • The cookie has to end up in the mouth, not just on the chin.
  • Players may not lean forward far enough to drop the cookie straight in.
  • A fallen cookie is out of play. Always use a fresh one.

Variations

  • Best of three: Play three rounds and crown whoever wins the most.
  • Team relay: Line up teams and have each player complete the challenge before the next one starts.
  • Double stuf: Use Double Stuf Oreos for extra grip, or thin mints for a much harder round.
  • No-look mode: Players close their eyes for the whole minute.

Host tips

  • Buy roughly three times as many cookies as you think you need. They fall constantly.
  • Ask about nut and gluten allergies before handing out cookies, and keep an alternative on hand.
  • Dry skin helps. Have players pat their foreheads with a napkin first.
  • This one photographs beautifully. Put someone on camera duty before the timer starts.
  • For younger kids, stretch the clock to 90 seconds so more players finish.
